I’ve been watching Mr. Robot over the last few weeks, and whilst it’s a little dramatic on the info-sec elements of the hacking involved, the series has been quite good, especially concerning the health of the main character Elliot Alderson (played by Rami Malik)
Now HP are taking advantage of Christian Slater‘s role as Mr. Robot (the focal point of a group of hackers) in the series to warn of the dangers of hackers breaking into your printer and using it for nefarious purposes, showing how one weak point can provide all the access a hacker could need into a perimeter protected network.
